Description: Year 11 students will be completing their Report Interviews. This will provide students with their advisers an opportunity to reflect on their academic progress and develop strategies for continued improvement.

Swim Safe Swimming Ability Testing - Group 1
Date: Wednesday, 18/11/2026
Time: 12.10pm to 3.00pm
Description: Students will participate in a swimming ability assessment to evaluate their current swimming skills and confidence in the water. The results will be used to allocate students to appropriate swimming groups for the Swim Safe program in Week 9.
Students will attend regular classes during Periods 1 and 4 before meeting at the school hall at the beginning of lunch.
Students will then depart for the excursion, which will take place during Periods 5 and 6, and return to school for dismissal.

Shaws Creek Aboriginal Place - Site Visit
Date: Thursday, 26/11/2026
Time: All Day
Description: This site visit provides Aboriginal students with an opportunity to learn through direct connection with Country and Place, extending their learning beyond the classroom. Shaws Creek is a significant place on Darug Country and has a long history of Aboriginal cultural practices, including gathering, travelling, hunting, food collection and connection to the Dyarubbin/Nepean River.
Aboriginal people continue to maintain connections to and practise culture on Country today.
During the visit, students can also build on practical cultural learning with our school Aboriginal mentor, Dennis Moran, including making stone axe edges and developing skills in boomerang throwing.

Ryda

Description: Ryda road safety education program. Ryda features a highly engaging and memorable one-day workshop which front-loads students’ understanding of road safety. The workshop sessions are designed to be held in small classroom sized groups (approximately 25 students) and are led by a team of trained facilitators including Police, driving instructors and other community sector specialists.
