The Everest Program
The “Everest Program” - for students aspiring to greater heights' is Blacktown Boys High School's program that offers extension activities to high achieving and high potential students, in accordance with the Department of Education's HPGE Policy. Students will undertake differentiated learning that aims to extend and expand on their capabilities, skills and knowledge, so that their potential is attained in preparation for their life beyond school. Students in Year 6 enrolling in Blacktown Boys High School will be able to apply once their enrolment has been completed.

This exclusive program offers extension opportunities for gifted, high-achieving and high-potential students — and is available only to boys enrolled at Blacktown Boys High School.
To apply:
✔ Make sure your son’s enrolment at BBHS is fully finalised (all original documents and forms submitted).
✔ Hand in your completed Everest application and supporting documents to our school office before the deadline.

Selective enrolment
Our school is a partially selective high school. We have a selective and non-selective stream. Our selective stream is for high potential and gifted students in Years 7 to 12. For Year 7 entry, parents apply when their child is at the end of Year 5 or the beginning of Year 6.
