At Blacktown Boys' High School we offer a variety of extra curricular activities which your sons can undertake whilst studying at the school.
During our Year 8 topic, 'What's the Buzz?' we studied forms of energy and various methods to collect electrical energy for us to use in our homes. Students were asked to create a model of a generator or a device to capture renewable energy.
Year 9 learned about physics in our topic, "Getting Around", and the implications of the laws of motion in our everyday lives. We had set a task to transport an egg in a vehicle, down a ramp safely. We were extremely pleased with their results and it is safe to say, that no eggs were harmed in the experiment.
