STEM at BBHS aims to develop practical, hands-on learning and gaining of skills to help students apply knowledge from Science, Technology and Mathematics through fun projects. All teachers from the Maths, Science and TAS faculty contribute to lessons, helping students to integrate their knowledge from the pillar subjects.
Blacktown Boys' High School has also partnered with The University of Sydney and has been accepted into the STEM Academy. Within the academy, BBHS networks with the university and other schools within the academy to brainstorm projects, resources, and authentic connection with the curriculum. Mr. Nikolai Liu (Head Teacher TAS) is BBHS STEM Project Leader.
